FESTIVE PERIOD RETURNS 2022
Over the festive period starting from November 17th 2022 you or those who have been gifted an item will have until January 20th 2023 to return or exchange the item.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
We hope that you will enjoy your purchase from D.A.Y.
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you can return this to us within 14 days of receipt, following the steps indicated below. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment.
If your item is faulty, we apologise, please inform us soon as possible. If we are not informed this may affect your right to return the item.
As a small, independent business it is really difficult for us to accept returns on sale items which are only sold within a very limited sale period and at a much lower margin. So we prefer to offer exchange or credit, which can be used in store or online with no time limit. Please consider this when shopping the sale.

When returning an item back to us please follow the steps below:
1- Phone or email us as soon as possible to inform us that you would like to exchange or refund an item.

2. Once you have informed us, please package the item(s) securely.
3. You can drop the item back into our store or send back the item using any postal service. Please note that we are not responsible for return postage (also for an exchange). When you send return goods, please ship by a recorded delivery method, so the item can be tracked. The responsibility for any items returned lies with the customer until it is received by us.

We will only accept returns or exchanges of items that are unused and returned with all original tags and packaging intact. We will not accept returns of items that have been worn or where the tags have been removed. All shoes must be returned in their original boxes.
We do not accept exchanges or returns on any grooming or cosmetic products, earrings, underwear or swimwear.
Once we have inspected the return, we aim to process all returns within 3-4 days of being received. Depending on your bank refunds may take up to 10 days to show up on your card statement.
For any returns coming back from the EU or rest of the world you will be responsible for any customs charges for sending back the item to us in the UK. We recommend you research the customs fee before sending the item back.
When you place an order with us through our website we will require some details such as; your name, billing address, telephone number, email address and payment details. This information is essential so that we can process your order request.
You will have the possibility to check out as a guest or create an account to save your details securely, but we will not sell or rent the information you give us to anyone else.
We work alongside our trusted third-party companies to provide credit card processing and shipping. These companies are only issued with the information they require to perform their services. We do not store credit card details or share customer details with other companies.
If you are a registered customer or have signed up to the D.A.Y Newsletter, we may occasionally keep you updated on news and forthcoming events and special offers. You will have the option to unsubscribe at any point.
We accept all major credit and debit cards including AMEX. Please note any refunds will be credited to the original method of payment.
All payments will be taken in full, from the customer’s chosen payment method, before goods are shipped. We use Shopify secure payment gateway; they handle the transaction on our behalf.
UK First Class Delivery (1-3 days) £9.95 - (free on all orders £100 and over)
UK Second Class Delivery (*STANDARD) (3-5 days) £4.95- (free on all orders £30 and over)
*UK includes Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands – Jersey and Guernsey. Some destinations may take longer than 48 hours for First Class delivery.
All our parcels are sent via Royal Mail/Parcel Force recorded services that will require a signature on arrival. Royal Mail will leave you a contact card if they are unable to make the delivery in the first instance.
CLICK AND COLLECT
Should you wish to collect your purchase from our store, please select ‘Pick - Up DAY' in the Shopping Bag page. Your purchase will then be available to collect from our store within two working days. We will email you once your order is ready for collection. Please wait for us to contact you to let you know that your order is ready for collection.

EU COUNTRIES: £13.00 4-5 working days (approx) and £6.00 for any purchases £250 and above
NORWAY & SWITZERLAND: £15.00 4-5 working days (approx)
REST OF WORLD: £18.00 5-7 working days (approx)
To place an international order simply select country of destination at checkout and shipping will be automatically calculated.
In some cases shipping of items internationally will not be possible due to weight, we will infirm you immediately if shipping is not possible and refund you ASAP.

TAX AND VAT
All prices on our site are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) where applicable.
DUTIES AND CUSTOMS
If your order is to be delivered outside the UK it may be liable for import duty and local sales taxes, which customers will need to pay on receipt of the shipment. Taxation laws vary by country and will be determined by your local government. Please check what your local liability for Import tax is as Returns received due to unpaid duty will forfeit all additional costs incurred.
